What is your Favorite Easter Memory?

What is your favorite Easter memory from your childhood?

As a child, the spiritual part of Easter was a story I heard each year, but the best memory is...
We were visiting my grandmother in Cleveland. On Easter morning, the house across the street was covered, and I mean covered, with hundreds of Easter eggs. It is still such a vivid picture in my mind - I'd never seen anything like it.

When I was a child, the entire family used to come over to our house for Easter dinner. We're talking 2 sets of grandparents, 4 sets of great aunts and uncles, distant cousins, in addition to my parents and the 4 of us kids in my parents house--it wasn't all that big... It only happened on Easter, as the group got considerably smaller for other holidays. I remember being absolutely shocked as a small kid at all the people and the noise. We had people sitting EVERYWHERE to eat. Once we all grew up, I only saw those same people at funerals.....
