Just Amazed

I need to confess that I am often amazed at being your pastor. There are times, like this week, when words don’t seem to come together for articles or sermons. At times, I am so blank minded and wonder how God could use me to help a group of people as diverse as Mt. Oak to become stronger in their faith. The call of pastors and other leaders to help train and equip the Saints to carry out the Great Commission is at times overwhelming.

This Sunday is one of those Sundays. How do you follow up Easter? What could I have to say that would match or measure up to the life changing story of the resurrection? We start a new series of sermons about being Wired for Worship. We will try to look at the natural wiring inside of each of us. We will attempt to encourage the body to search their heart about whom or what they worship. Pray for me that God will work in me, through me, and in spite of me.
