    Christianity Boils Down to Attitude

Another one of my favorite sayings - Christianity Boils Down to Attitude!

Philippians 2:5 - Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: NIV

Attitude is such an important element of faith.

We can have all the knowledge in the world!
We can have all the spiritual gifts available!

But we all know of people who simply have a bad attitude. It can ruin all the good that the knowledge and the gifts can bring.

Ephesians 4:22-24 - 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. NIV

Romans 12:2 - Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will. NIV

    Your thoughts are welcome.

Somewhere between having the right attitude and doing what you are called to do, willing (though you may have an "attitude" doing it, and not so joyfully) yet living in this worldly relam of fleshly "reality" is the great thesis of life. Even if we know we are abiding to the desires of the Spirit, often times that doesn't bring with it the good attitude. Though Spirit/head knowledge tell us it's the final after-life we are to race to the finish-line for. Anyways, this life of abiding in the righetous ways, is a hard fought everyday marathon. I'm sure Job and Paul, weren't upbeat
    "24/7" either.

It is more than attitude, but without the right attitude, efforts will fail.
