Maybe this is a little Pre-Thanksgiving and continuing thru today. I was lucky enough to be part of several recent Mt. Oak events (assisting with the DC turkey basket outreach, the chruch brunch, the Applebees outreach Thanksgiving Day, and today's (Sat) delivery and & setup of the annual Christmas trees for sale).
What I have witnessed and felt thru these events is the wonderful feeling of coming toghether and assisting amongst each other for a common positive goal. Wow, what the community and the world could be like if we could all be more reaching out and helpful to each other on a routine/daily basis.
Having so much family together for the holidays...
