    Three Basic Rules for Methodists

Without doing an internet search - is there a lay person out there that knows the three simple rules for Methodists?

Does no one have a clue? Three simple rules that early Methodists could remember - easily...

I enjoy studying the history of the church and theology. I don't know the answer to this. Hmmmm.

OK - here they are since some of you are stumped. They were simple yet complex rules for Methodists.

    Do No Harm
    Do Good
    Love God

Pretty easy to remember. Yet they cover everything. If we followed these three simple rules, we would walk with Jesus and keep all of His commands for sure.

They are very much like Jesus' commandments.

Mark 12:30-31 - 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

    Great verse!

Way to make us think brother.

I actually missed it, before the answer was posted. Not that I would have gotten the answer you were going for though, lol.
