What is unique about Mt. Oak compared to other churches?
If we assume that a church is Biblically based, and strives to make disciples of Jesus Christ, what makes us unique. How would you describe us to a friend who wanted to know about us?

The first thing that comes to mind, of course is our diversity. I believe we have one of the most diverse congregations around. We have people from different races, ethnicities, countries, upbringings, and even those who were raised other religions.
Another thing about our Church that is so unique is all of the outreach we do. We have things like StreetReach, and concerts at Allen Pond park that reach to so many who are without a church home. I also think we have a very unique senior staff, with varying backgrounds as well.
From our Senior Pastor to the interns, I think we have a wide array of differences that make us unique as a whole.
Me!
I agree with Wes' comment that the diversity of Mt. Oak is unique. That and a comment Jason made about about Christians pushing Christians out of the church at the first service I attended prompted me to attend a second time. After that I continued to attend because I alway left with something to think about and use in service to our Lord.
