Romans 12:2 - Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.
In what ways do you see the Christian church, in general, conforming to the world today?
In what ways do you see the Christian church, in general, being transformed in Christ's likeness?

the church is too soft on sin
The church is being conformed to the world as it accepts all sorts of sin such as homosexuality.
The church, when it expresses pure love, is being transformed into the likeness of Christ.
The church is too judgemental, as demonstrated in the first two postings...
I see the Christian Church (especially Mt. Oak) making a much bigger effort to "meet people where they are" as Christ did. In my youth, I never witnessed churches do the types of outreach I've been witnessing at Mt. Oak. Some examples include StreetReach, The Car Wash a few months back, and pretty much having an "open door policy"
As Pastor Ray always says, we (The Church) need to reach the unchurched. That may mean stepping out of our comfort zones, and putting ourselves into uncomfortable situations. Christ was CONSTANTLY in non-ideal or uncomfortable situations, but it never detered him. I think we've been doing a great job!!
As far as conforming goes, I can't really speak on that...
