Do you believe we should try to sign Mark Teixeira and/or A.J. Burnett - two free agents with Baltimore ties - this winter? What limits would you place money wise or would you sign them whatever the cost?

I believe we should go all out. Attendance is at an all time low and Mark and A.J. would draw some folks back. We need to sign Nick Markakis long term as well. And find a short stop who can pick it. And work on our starting pitching. That's all. Nothing 45 million a year wouldn't solve.
No one but you and John Gorman are interested in talking about the Raven's or the O's!!!!

Hey don't be a hater Pam! The Orioles are up and coming - cause they can't get much worse!
From John: Well growing up just on the outskirts of B-More, and being a kid growing up on baseball, sure I'm (was alot more) an O's fan. It's been a long tearful downward spiral from the last time Jeffery Mayer stole that "out" from us in NY stadium and the last time the O's were in a playoff game. Well thiking forward here, we had bats last yr, but we need ARMS, the key is to get the other team OUT vs outscoring them. The O's have had NO pitching since "forever", also I don't think quality pitchers like coming here because of the small park of Camden Yds. We've rushed the pitching prospects we have too fast and have damanged their arms. Bottom-line- stockpile ARMS, w/ the economy etc, attendance will be down any way, need to go back (aka Tampa Bay) and develop the farm system. Keep Nick M., the guys got talent, and "looks" to bring the females along w/ their males to the park. - HA!
