Do we dare tackle the election?
How about naming some religious issues involved in this election season? We already mentioned abortion and a number of people responded. I agree that the issue should move from abortion to prevention of unscheduled pregnancies.
Are there other issues that as Christian Americans we should be concerned about?

Coming from a family that has been very involved in missions and community service, I would like to know each candidate's views on the church's involvement in serving the nation.
I think we all know that McCain very bravely served our country abroad, and Obama was a community organizer, but how would they balance the service that dedicated military reserves perform overseas AND at home?
Actually, I was kind of shocked that Sarah Palin mocked Obama's service as a community organizer, but I'm fairly certain she was just reading a speech that she had little influence over, which is also concerning.
Most of those reporting say that all of the candidates read speeches that are prepared for them. I believe that the community organizer comment was directed at the criticism directed at Mrs. Palin's small town major position.
The issue was raised about Mrs. Palin's readiness to assume the Presidency and the comparison was being made about Mr. Obama's experience.
I would like to know how they would deal with immigration. I am not for or against opening our borders to all, but a law is a law. Do we get to pick and choose which laws make us undocumented verses illegal? Something is either illegal or legal. If the law is not good, change it. If it is, enforce it.
I would also like to know what they will do about the economy and our energy crisis, which go hand in hand I think.
