How important is prayer? Should we bath everything we do in prayer or only the large items? Should prayer be something we do continually or only on occasion?
What is your prayer life like? What pointers can you give others? What has helped or hindered your prayer life?
Would you join a group that regularly meets to pray for the church? Would you be more apt to pray if you could do it on your own time or at your home?
What are your thoughts surrounding prayer?

I think prayer is one of the most important aspects of being a christian. My eyes were really opened Sunday when Pastor Ray spoke about how prayer is essential to our personal relationship with God.
I have too often been the christian who says my meal prayers, and the before I go to sleep "thank you for this day and your blessings" prayer. I am not saying that there is something wrong with this, but what I am saying is that I need to be more in touch with God. I should be talking with him more; about all aspects of my life, not just the ones for which I need his help.
I have definitely been challenged to become a better prayer. Thanks Pastor Ray!
I think prayer is essential as a Christian. I feel that in order to build an intimate relationship with God, you must have that quiet time with God in prayer. Also, prayer takes me through all my days, before a meeting at work I pray, before I have to face anything I pray. I do not feel that prayer is reserved for that quiet time only, I think as Christians we should be able to pray to God at any moment in any situation. Prayer calms and soothes the soul and makes even the highest mountain seem like an anthill. Marie W.
