Wouldn't it be great if we had a standing gospel choir that served as the praise team once a month? I know we have a choir that sings on special occasions. I love the music our praise teams provide. I grew up with a gospel tradition and Bryan loves gospel music. We've both been members of our previous church home choirs. I hope we can expand Mount Oak's music ministry to incorporate a standing gospel choir.
One more idea: How about seeking out a sister church? We could find a church who's traditons are different than ours and plan events with them 3-6 times a year which would include experiencing the different ministries of the church and sharing.
