Here's a suggested topic that should raise some controversy that dovetails on the abortion topic.
I do not understand how one who states they are a Christian support political candidates who support the right to abortion on demand if an opposing candidate disagrees with such a position. I had a discussion with 2 carpool mates (Christians) some years ago. Did not get far enough into the discussion, but the only conclusion I could draw was they set aside their morals for political expediency. Perhaps there is something morally wrong with some conservative candidates that outweighs the moral issue of abortion (as well as embracing alternative lifestyles such as practicing homosexuality). I can't think of any, but I would be interested in hearing such views.
